Concert halls in transition. What’s worth fighting for.

Concert halls today are at a turning point: they need to reposition themselves in order to remain relevant in a rapidly changing cultural and media landscape. The change affects not only the architecture and acoustic design, but also the programmes that are offered and the audiences that are addressed. At a time in which tradition and innovation are struggling with each other, a clear positioning and a sharpened profile are needed in order to know what is worth fighting for.
